Qualifications

• Graduate of a two-year Engineering or Engineering Technology degree program from an accredited school/program.
• Successful completion of the company's Training and Development Program for Distribution Service Technicians.
• Licensed to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Specifies design for single phase and three phase overhead and underground facilities.
• Prepares corrective maintenance, failed equipment and pole replacement work orders.
• Works with other utility companies and municipalities regarding joint use of distribution facilities.
• Prepares work orders, sketches, right-of-way requests, permit requests and estimates.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to meet customers' project needs and service complaints.
• Determines customer obligations from standard practice instructions for contracts and billing.
