Qualifications

• Two-year Engineering or Engineering Technology degree from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the company's Training and Development Program for Distribution Service Technicians.
• Licensed to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Specifies design for overhead and underground facilities according to specifications and defined units.
• Prepares maintenance, failed equipment and pole replacement work orders for distribution facilities.
• Works with other utilities, municipalities and authorities regarding joint use of distribution facilities.
• Prepares work orders, sketches, ROW requests, permit requests and estimates; generates orders in company systems.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer project needs and service requirements.
• Determines customer obligations from standard practices for contracts, costs, billing and accounting.
