PPL Electric Utilities in Wilkes-Barre is seeking a field survey and design technician for overhead and underground facilities to support a reliable grid. The role involves coordinating maintenance, operation, and construction of distribution facilities to meet project needs.
You will prepare work orders, sketches, right-of-way requests, and estimates; collaborate with customers and stakeholders, and ensure contracts and billing requirements are met.

This is a union position within PPL. The starting hourly rate for this position is $42.606 with the potential for overtime. This position will be based out of PPL's Wilkes Barre Service Center.
Conducts field surveys and performs assignments associated with the design and engineering of overhead and underground facilities of various voltage levels. Assists in coordinating maintenance, operation and construction of all such facilities.
Candidates must meet the basic qualifications and pass all required tests or assessments to receive consideration.
