Samsung Electronics America is seeking an experienced Distribution Sales Support professional to back field sales managers and help drive revenue across distribution accounts. You will review data, synthesize reports, and forecast opportunities while coordinating with indirect and direct partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• 5+ years in Consumer Electronics or Distribution account sales with strong data analytics, organization, decision-making, initiative and follow-up.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
• Experience with large partners/portfolio.
• Ability to travel within the US up to 40%.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and outstanding presentation and sales skills.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookup, data analysis).

Responsibilities

• Review Sell-in and Sell Thru data to identify key focus areas and incremental opportunities.
• Synthesize reporting for management review and monthly Distribution account reviews.
• Forecast distribution accounts weekly and monthly; collaborate with direct partners for needed products.
• Administer sales orders, execute programs, validate data, and support channel communications.
• Implement overall segment strategy and Samsung brand initiatives; support sales and marketing objectives.
• Track individual and group Distribution performance; follow up with managers and accounts.
• Serve as key contact for distribution accounts' resource needs and assets for business execution.
• Research new accounts and locations to expand revenue; explore opportunities to grow existing channels.
• Support distribution and industry events with coordination and follow-up.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

This position will support existing Distribution field sales managers, allowing for career growth into full Distribution field sales management.

Working with Director of Sales and Distribution sales managers, position will support sales activities such as, but not limited to, account cold calling, account follow up, account program tracking, event support, etc. Core purpose to provide support and increase revenue at all distribution accounts. Role will enable and support each Distribution Sales manager to quickly identify opportunity where day-to-day manager role is directly managing relationships.

Role And Responsibilities

• Sell-in and Sell Thru data review to identify key areas of focus and incremental opportunities.
• Synthesize reporting for management review, monthly Distribution account review of sales in units and dollars.
• Support continuous business planning and forecasting for distribution accounts by maintaining weekly and monthly Distribution forecasts (Indirect Partners) and collaborating with direct distribution partners for needed product.
• Administration of sales orders, program execution, validation, and channel communications supporting account initiatives and development.
• Overall segment strategy implementation; execution of Samsung brand initiatives, support of all sales and marketing objectives
• Responsible for individual and group Distribution performance tracking and sales manager/account follow up.
• Key contact for distribution accounts resource needs and support, responsible for assets, programs, specifications, and other resources needed to execute business strategies.
• Working with sales managers, identify and research NEW account and location prospects to increase revenue at distribution accounts.
• Working with sales managers, explore opportunities and expansion within existing and new channels.
• Support distribution and industry events with coordination and follow up.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• 5+ years of previous relatable Consumer Electronics or Distribution account sales experience, where advanced data analytics skills, organizational skills, decision making abilities, taking initiative, and timely follow-up were critical to driving business results
• Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization both internally and externally
• Experience with large partners/portfolio
• Ability to travel within the US up to 40% of the time
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and outstanding presentation and sales skills
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-look ups, and data analysis)
• Ability to travel within the US up to 40% of the time

The salary range for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, and actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role. However, the salary ranges in the following regions are expected to be as follows:

• California: $116,000 to $122,500
• Colorado: $101,500 to $107,000
• District of Columbia: $111,500 to $117,500
• Hawaii: $97,000 to $102,000
• Illinois: $101,500 to $107,000
• Maine: $92,000 to $97,000
• Maryland: $101,500 to $107,000
• Massachusetts: $106,500 to $112,000
• Minnesota: $101,500 to $107,000
• New Jersey: $116,000 to $122,500
• New York: $116,000 to $122,500
• Vermont: $92,000 to $97,000
• Virginia: $111,500 to $117,500
• Washington State: $111,500 to $117,500
