• Establish influencer relationships with distribution partners and act as trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with installer accounts involved in purchasing building products for projects.
• Oversee installer engagement program as defined in annual plan.
• Triage inbound technical calls, provide product information, log as CRM leads.
• Represent the company in local/regional trade associations to engage target installer accounts.

We are partnering with a privately held manufacturer in the commercial building product space that is in a very strong growth phase. They are looking for a Distribution Sales Manager for their Northern CA / Northern NV territory. The purpose of this position is to provide technical field support and serve as the point of contact in the field for installers, project stakeholders, and channel partners in order to realize exceptional business growth through project sales and exceed strategic objectives.

What You'll Do:

• Establish influence and strong relationships as a trusted advisor with key distribution partners.
• Work closely with installer accounts who are involved in making decisions related to the purchase of building products for construction projects.
• Management and execution of the installer engagement program, defined by the installer matrix, and as assigned in the annual business plan.
• Receive and manage inbound technical calls, provide information to the customer on request. While remaining involved, transfer to the Technical Department if necessary. Log call into CRM and treat as potential qualified lead to track.
• Actively participate in local and regional trade associations with memberships that include target installer accounts.
