Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Distribution Order Picker in Missouri to accurately pick, label, and move products within our warehouse. You will use RF scanners and voice-picking tech to ensure orders are prepared correctly and safely.

You will work closely with Warehouse Operations, Shipping, and QA teams to support timely deliveries and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Prior warehouse experience and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, meets productivity and safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment as certified.

Responsibilities

Distribution Order Picker

Department: Warehouse

Pay: $19.55/hour

Starting times and hours may vary depending on staffing levels, attendance, production schedules, and seasonal business needs, including holidays.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE...

As a Distribution Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer orders are accurately selected, prepared, and distributed throughout the warehouse. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to meet productivity goals help keep operations running efficiently and support the timely delivery of products.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...

• Accurately pick, stack, label, and distribute products within the warehouse.
• Transport materials and products from picking areas to designated warehouse locations.
• Sort and place materials on pallets according to established criteria such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Follow standard operating procedures while meeting established productivity and quality standards.
• Utilize RF scanners, voice-picking equipment, and other warehouse technology to complete order selection activities.
• Apply identifying labels and markings to products and materials as required.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and other approved equipment when certified.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and properly storing supplies.
• Keep aisles, exits, and workspaces clear of obstructions.
• Follow proper lifting and material-handling procedures and promptly report defective equipment.
• Adhere to all safety, food safety, sanitation, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Report workplace injuries, incidents, or property damage immediately to leadership.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE)

• High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to meet productivity, quality, and safety expectations.
• Basic comfort using warehouse technology such as RF scanners or voice-picking systems.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift.
• Strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and workplace organization.

Physical Requirements

Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Frequently use hands for handling, grasping, and manipulating materials.

Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance as needed.

Ability to work while standing and walking for extended periods.

Visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and focus adjustment.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE... (NICE TO HAVE)

• Previous warehouse, distribution, order picking, or material handling experience.
• Experience operating electric pallet jacks or other powered industrial equipment.
• Certification to operate warehouse equipment.
• Experience using RF scanning devices, voice-picking systems, or warehouse management technology.
• Familiarity with food manufacturing, food distribution, or consumer goods environments.
• Experience participating in Continuous Improvement or 5S initiatives.

Work Environment

Warehouse environment with moderate noise levels.

Exposure to varying operational demands based on production schedules and business needs.

Requires adherence to all safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
