Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking a Distribution Customer Service Intern to assist with shipment processing, data entry, and billing functions to support efficient distribution operations. You'll learn company procedures, ensure accuracy, resolve exceptions, and contribute to on-time freight movement and customer satisfaction.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and requires High School diploma, English fluency, background check, and authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Successful candidates must pass a background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship expected).
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist with order processing, inventory management, receiving, shipping, and data entry to support daily distribution operations.
• Generate and maintain operational documents, reports, and records with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support coordination with customers, service providers, and internal teams to facilitate timely order fulfillment and issue resolution.
• Monitor shipments and inventory activity, provide status updates, and support customer and vendor billing.
