Job summary

St. Louis Children's Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks a Distribution Operations Coordinator to support daily distribution operations and staffing coordination. You will be the SME on inventory and resource systems (e.g., Wavemark, Atpar, FLICS, PeopleSoft) and ensure standard work is followed system-wide.

Schedule: Mon–Fri 12:00 PM–8:30 PM. Responsibilities include audits, cross-functional collaboration with clinicians and vendors, managing par locations during renovations and changes in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for role.
• Experience in distribution or inventory management preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with clinicians, purchasing and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Performs audits and oversees department operations; acts as charge person in supervisor's absence.
• Represents department in system-wide supply distribution initiatives; communicates with clinical leads and management.
• Maintains expertise on inventory management technologies; shares best practices across the system.
• Supports daily un-fill rate decisions and ensures supply availability with purchasing and vendors.
• Coordinates the design and setup of new par locations during renovations and operational changes.
