Hach in Ames, IA is seeking an Operator III-Distribution to manage incoming materials, pick, pack, and ship customer orders using safe, efficient warehouse practices. This on-site role supports the Distribution Department with accuracy and timely fulfillment.

You will operate in a high-bay environment, apply FIFO, verify inventory, and train teammates as needed. The position offers evening shift with $2 shift differential and benefits; prior warehouse experience and ability to use powered

Qualifications

• HS or GED diploma required.
• 2+ years of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating powered warehouse equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack and ship quality products according to standard work and regulations.
• Pack and ship hazardous and non-hazardous orders per ticket instructions.
• Prepare and deliver materials to designated locations with safety-first mindset.
• Use manual and powered equipment to pick and place products in high bay locations.
• Perform computer transactions to ensure product availability for orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
