Job summary

Hach Lange GmbH, a Veralto company, is seeking an Operator III-Distribution in Ames, IA on-site. You will retrieve, stock, and verify materials in a high-bay warehouse to fulfill customer orders, pack and ship outbound materials, and train others as needed.

This role uses industrial material handling equipment in a warehouse environment with a safety-first mindset. You will support inventory accuracy, ensure On-Time Delivery, and work Monday-Thursday, 3:15pm-1:45am with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS or GED required.
• 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating powered warehouse equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack and ship quality products according to standard work and regulations.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous orders per pick tickets.
• Deliver materials to designated locations using equipment with safety first.
• Use manual or powered equipment to pick/place products in high bay locations.
• Perform computer transactions to ensure product availability for orders.
• Maintain FIFO and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Keep work area neat and safe amid multiple priorities.
