Job summary

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Susquehanna location in New Cumberland, PA seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead distribution operations. You will direct staff responsible for receiving, picking, packing and stowing, and ensure efficient, safe performance to meet production goals.

You will supervise work by evaluating performance, setting priorities, coordinating with other supervisors, and operating MHE up to 10,000 pounds. Compliance with OSHA and DLA standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising distribution operations and staff.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements in warehouse environments.
• Ability to manage leave, training needs, and performance programs.

Responsibilities

• Directs employees engaged in receiving, picking, packing, and stowing.
• Evaluates work to meet production goals with efficient use of personnel and materials.
• Manages administrative duties including approving leave and training participation.
• Establishes deadlines, sets priorities, and coordinates with other supervisors.
• Operates MHE such as forklifts (up to 10,000 pounds) and other warehouse equipment.
• Ensures safety and security practices in accordance with OSHA and DLA standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
