Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years in transportation/logistics or equivalent; military experience considered.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.
• Strong customer service, accuracy, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze situations and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate processing of goods and proper environment.
• Build positive relationships to minimize turnover and maximize productivity.
• Manage on-time service and adjust ETAs based on schedules and road factors.
• Communicate safety, warehousing, and shipping requirements; promote safety culture at accounts.
• Coordinate with drivers to resolve service issues and optimize routing.
• Perform payroll, budgeting, safety reviews, invoicing, and reporting.
• Maximize efficiency and profitability; recommend improvements and track KPIs.
• Train personnel and assist with internal/3rd-party systems.
• Fill in for absent staff and support special projects to optimize operations.
• Assist in yard management as part of daily tasks.
