The position requires flexible shifts (day/night/weekend) and may involve travel for training or account coverage. Strong communication, problem solving, and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years of experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, or equivalent military experience; ability to work across multiple shifts including nights/weekends
• Demonstrated skills: customer service, accurate information processing, conflict anticipation/management, analytical decision making, adaptability, relationship building, effective communication, and influencing others

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations and ensure accurate processing of goods to customers/vendors
• Build and maintain positive professional relationships with personnel
• Assist with on-time service and meet customer requirements including freight/ETA adjustments
• Communicate safety standards and warehousing/shipping requirements to create a positive safety culture
• Coordinate warehouse resources to maintain processes and cover shifts as needed
• Perform administrative duties (payroll, budgets, safety reviews, invoicing, reporting)
• Maximize efficiency and profitability; propose continuous improvements and measure KPIs
• Train and orient personnel; assist with internal/3rd-party systems
• Fill in for absent staff; assist with special projects
• Assist in yard management as part of daily tasks
