Job summary

Carter’s Inc. in Stockbridge, GA is seeking an Operations Specialist/Clerk to handle data entry, reporting and clerical duties within our Stockbridge Distribution Center.

You will support daily warehouse operations, coordinate with internal teams, maintain records, and back-up the Operations Trainers. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, RF scanning, and flexibility for overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of WMOS, SCI and other warehouse management systems.
• Team player willing to perform various duties to support the department and facility KPIs.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds repetitively, stand for shifts up to 12 hours, and operate RF equipment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for the assigned functional area.
• Use the reporting provided for proper execution of operational processes.
• Create and maintain distribution files.
• Research and resolve inventory error reports.
• Maintain department records and file documents.
• Submit adjustments to correct inventory as needed.
• Observe housekeeping, safety and C-TPAT compliance in the area.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners to ensure process adherence.
• Back-up for Operations Trainers; conduct training as needed.
• Support the Coordinator/Supervisor in all DC duties.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
