You will manage operations, safety, and compliance while coordinating with cross‑functional partners to meet service levels. The role requires strategic planning, KPI leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement across a multi‑shift distribution center in Michigan.

Qualifications

• College degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations with direct supervision.
• 3+ years of management experience with direct reports.
• Preferred: Forklift Operation or Lean Six Sigma certifications.
• Proven strategic communication with stakeholders across shifts and functions.
• Experience leading multi‑shift operations and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee end‑to‑end distribution operations (receiving, storage, order fulfillment, returns, shipping) with SOPs to ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop tactical operating plans to achieve SLAs, productivity targets, and customer expectations using KPI analysis.
• Partner with senior DC leadership to align objectives and develop dashboards, capacity planning, and technology adoption.
• Lead cross‑functional continuous improvement initiatives; apply data‑driven analysis and pilot new technologies.
• Mentor and develop supervisors and associates; align staffing with business needs and HR programs.
• Develop and manage operating budgets; oversee safety, compliance (OSHA, DOT), and audits.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and quality; perform counts and address discrepancies.
