Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead day-to-day activities for the Distribution team in Englewood, CO. You will ensure staffing, training, and clear communication to meet departmental goals and coordinate with management to ship orders efficiently.

The role emphasizes compliance with FDA/state regulations and ISO 13485, with a focus on coaching staff, achieving productivity, and delivering high service levels to internal and external customers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 3+ years Supervisory experience managing hourly employees.
• Previous operational medical device experience helpful.
• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates in a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Aptitude for analyzing situations and resolving problems.
• Self-motivated with the ability to achieve desired results with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP experience a plus.
• Ability to calculate figures, percentages and data.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to influence others.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily distribution team operations to meet departmental goals.
• Ensure staffing resources are properly utilized and personnel trained, with clear communications to team and management.
• Fulfill a full-time role which may require extra hours to ensure orders are shipped.
• Lead and coach staff, including recruitment and onboarding, performance management and career development.
• Train personnel in ERP systems or other processes as needed.
• Develop and drive processes to increase inventory processing, fulfillment, receiving and shipping efficiency.
• Prepare reports to understand business performance and share updates with management.
• Meet with the department regularly to discuss business updates and information.
