Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Supervisor of Distribution to oversee daily activities of the Distribution team and ensure efficient staffing, training, and communication. You will drive productivity, quality and continuous improvement while coaching staff and supporting onboarding and performance management.

The role requires supervising hourly employees, strong communication, and familiarity with ERP or related processes to enhance inventory and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 3+ years Supervisory experience managing hourly employees.
• Operational medical device experience is helpful.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SAP experience a plus.
• Ability to calculate figures, percentages and data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of the Distribution team to meet goals.
• Ensure staffing resources are properly utilized and trained.
• Maintain clear communications with team members and management.
• Lead the department to meet productivity, quality and continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor and develop staff including onboarding and performance.
• Prepare reports to show departmental performance and updates.
