Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is hiring a Distribution Supervisor to oversee daily operations, staffing, and training across the distribution team. You will drive productivity, ensure quality, and maintain strong communication with management and internal customers.

In this role, you will mentor staff, implement processes for inventory and shipping, and ensure FDA/state and ISO 13485 compliance. A strong background in supervision and KM tools underpins success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 3+ years Supervisory experience managing hourly employees.
• Previous operational medical device experience helpful.
• Proven ability to supervise and motivate staff in a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Aptitude for analyzing situations and resolving problems.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SAP experience a plus.
• Ability to calculate figures, percentages and data.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; able to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of the Distribution team to meet goals.
• Ensure staffing resources are utilized, training completed, and clear communications.
• This is a full‑time role with possible extra hours to ensure orders ship.
• Maintain safety, quality and regulatory compliance (FDA/state/ISO 13485).
• Lead process improvements for inventory, fulfillment, receiving, and shipping.
• Prepare reports and share department updates with management.
