Job summary

CooperVision in West Henrietta, NY seeks a Distribution Lead to oversee daily workflow in the Distribution Center. You will coordinate picking, packing, and carrier sorters, assign tasks, monitor attendance, and ensure safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement. This on-site role requires strong leadership and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

2–5 years in manufacturing or warehousing with 1–2 years leading teams is preferred. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in manufacturing, warehouse, or operations.
• 1–2 years in lead or supervisory capacity.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge in an operational discipline typically gained through broad work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assign or reassign employees to tasks to meet production goals.
• Manage daily staffing and monitor attendance.
• Maintain and update training matrices; address skill gaps.
• Identify process improvements and lead CI initiatives.
• Communicate with other departments to improve efficiency.
• May assume Supervisor responsibilities in their absence.
• Work extended hours including mandatory overtime.
