Job summary

Georgia Power, a major electric subsidiary of Southern Company, seeks a Distribution Support Representative for the Cartersville Northwest Distribution area. You will provide administrative support to the Distribution Organization at Cartersville HQ and Dalton HQ, acting as primary backup for other locations.

Based in Cartersville, GA, you must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate at your own expense. Overtime may be required during storms.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework and/or degree are a plus.
• Certification as an administrative professional is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and meet with internal customers professionally.
• Support compliance requirements for assigned office locations.
• Serve as Compliance Poster Coordinator for Cartersville and Dalton HQ.
• Serve as the Oracle PaySOurce (timekeeping) administrator for assigned departments.
• Manage expenses for the group (expense statements, mileage, procurement card charges, check requests, and invoices).
• Assist with regional SERP activities including logistics, meals, TCMS, and other duties; possible overnight travel.
