Job summary

Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC, based in Dallas, invites an experienced engineer to join the Distribution Network Design group. The role supports planning, design, and project management for downtown Dallas and Fort Worth networks, with on-site work five days a week.

Positions range from Engineer to Senior Engineer, requiring a BS in engineering and a Texas PE license. You will handle vaults, civil installations, and grid design while ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license in Texas required.
• Engineer level: 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Staff level: 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Senior level: 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, standards, and operating procedures under minimal supervision.
• Develop plans, specifications and project management documents for expansion and maintenance of the downtown networks and other major distribution projects.
• Incorporate safety as a priority in design and operation of system projects.
• Communicate and resolve issues with other groups, presenting detailed plans from moderately to very complex design.
• Manage a large number of projects while maintaining quality, reliability, and volume.
• Support environmental responsibility and ethical conduct.
• Understand how the Networks operates with primary and secondary grids.
