Job summary

Wausau Supply Company is actively seeking a dependable Truck/Warehouse Material Handler to join our distributed network. You will pick, load, and unload orders, ensuring accuracy and safety while maintaining driver logs and DOT compliance.

The role requires a Class A CDL with air brake endorsement, DOT pre-employment drug testing, and forklift certification. Expect 10–13 hour shifts during peak season with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

What This Role Will Be Doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)

Use of hand held computer to receive incoming and outgoing freight
Picking product for Customer Orders and staging for loading
Loading orders on semi-trucks
Unloading stock onto racking
Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition to ensure truck is safe
Check Load and secure to D.O.T. Regulations. Make sure the load is safe and legal before moving
Drive truck safely and legally to customer locations and return
Open curtains, unstrap product, count and check product for damage and shortages
Assist receivers in unloading and loading the truck
Maintains driver logs and inspection reports according to D.O.T. regulations
Maintain a professional image at all times
Must be able to be forklift certified to aid in loading, unloading, and general warehouse work
Must be able to work flexible schedule

Products of 100 or more are lifted with forklift

A Warehouse Material Handler will be exposed to all weather conditions
