Job summary

Wausau Supply Company in the United States is seeking a Distribution Material Handler to support order picking, packing, loading, and shipping. You will help maintain inventory integrity and operate material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include safe handling, completing paperwork, and collaborating with team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Prior ERP handheld experience is a plus, and forklift certification is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse ERP handheld experience is a plus, training provided.
• Forklift certification or prior warehouse experience is a plus, training provided.

What This Role Will Be Doing

Duties to include, but not limited to:

• Consistently demonstrate and incorporate principals of safety
• Pick and pack to ensure all orders are pulled and packaged properly to be loaded
• Ensure all orders are loaded properly on the correct trailer and all the paperwork is complete so the orders can ship
• Develop and maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure participation in safety programs and required trainings
• Sort and move product interdepartmentally while operating and using a variety of material handling equipment, including, but not limited to, forklift, RF unit (hand-held), etc.
• Perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and encourages team effort
• Perform other duties assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, and/or company mission

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Warehouse hand-held ERP technology experience a plus but not required - training will be provided
• Forklift certification/prior warehouse experience a plus but not required – training will be provided

Working Demands / Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time
