Role Overview

The Elida Beauty Distribution Manager manages end-to-end supply chain execution, overseeing international imports and exports, ensuring seamless warehousing, fulfillment, and global logistics. This role works closely with 4PL partners, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to optimize supply chain performance while maintaining regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Imports & Exports Distribution Management

• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and tariff classifications.
• Manage freight partnerships with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to streamline global product movement.
• Monitor import/export documentation including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and regulatory filings.
• Optimize duty and tax strategies, ensuring efficient customs clearance and minimizing cost impact.
• Coordinate international shipments, balancing speed-to-market and cost efficiency for global distribution channels.
• Coordinate with 4PL providers to ensure seamless distribution, fulfillment, and inventory management.
• Track performance metrics for North America logistics, analyzing carrier efficiency, customs processing times, and landed costs.
• Partner with procurement to co-negotiate contract agreements with freight and logistics partners to optimize supply chain operations.
• Utilize real-time analytics and reporting tools to improve visibility across domestic/import/export flows.

Beauty Product Logistics

• Manage seamless movement of cosmetics, skincare and cotton products ensuring proper handling of sensitive and fragile items.
• Oversee batch tracking, shelf-life monitoring, and compliance with beauty industry regulations in different markets.
• Ensure efficient distribution across retail, e-commerce, and omnichannel networks, supporting cross-border expansion.

Personal Care Product Logistics

• Optimize bulk shipments for high-demand personal care products, ensuring continuous global supply to retailers and e-tailers.
• Coordinate warehousing and fulfillment centers to minimize transit times and reduce costs.
• Streamline supply chain flows with third-party logistics (3PLs) for mass-market distribution.

Cross-Functional Execution

• Partner with finance, sales, and operations teams to align international logistics with business goals.
• Utilize data analytics and trade compliance systems to track performance and optimize shipment strategies.
• Execute cost-saving initiatives through freight consolidation, duty minimization, and import/export efficiency improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business.
• 3-5+ years of experience in international trade, beauty or personal care distribution, import/export logistics.
• Background in customs compliance, freight management, and international vendor collaboration.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and trade compliance tools, AI performance tools.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, external logistics providers, and regulatory agencies.
