General Description:
The Senior Manager Distribution Vendor Management has Europe Regional scope and responsibilities, focusing on maintaining relationships with vendors (3rd Party Logistics service providers). This position involves managing current vendors and identifying future vendors, supporting RFP processes to secure competitive prices while ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal regulations.
The role requires collaboration with internal functions such as Legal, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, and Country Managers, covering areas like inventory management, logistics, artwork, process management, order-to-cash, and customer service.
The candidate will gather information on new processes, products, and procedures, translating them into contractual obligations through Statements of Work, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately reflected, priced, and documented. The role also involves implementing processes at vendors and monitoring their execution.
Key responsibilities include organizing weekly operational meetings with stakeholders, communicating successes or issues, and addressing them accordingly. Monthly and quarterly Business Reviews will be organized and led, focusing on internal and vendor KPIs related to distribution, financials, and quality, especially for sites in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, the UK, and Italy.
