Job summary

BioTouch in Columbus, GA is seeking a Distribution Administrator to coordinate outbound/inbound shipping, prepare documentation, and work with carriers to ensure on-time deliveries. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with warehouse, inventory, customer service, and logistics teams, maintain accurate records in TMS/WMS/ERP, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years shipping, logistics, or warehouse admin experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Experience using ERP, WMS, or transportation management systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• All prospective employees must pass a background and drug check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound and inbound shipping activities.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including shipping labels, packing slips, and customs paperwork when required.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with transportation providers and carriers.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delivery issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and update transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), or ERP systems.
• Verify shipment accuracy, including quantities, destinations, and carrier requirements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
