Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 5 years of progressive Lineman experience and completion of the OGE Apprentice Program; or 1 year Journey Lineman experience.
• For Apprentice: Associate's degree in a technical discipline or a certificate in Electrical Power Technology or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL and readiness for demanding physical work, climbing and on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, repair and maintain overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Attend to substations and switching duties as needed and observe safety procedures.
• Use test equipment and tools to diagnose and fix faults on distribution networks.
