ResMed Inc in Moreno Valley, CA, seeks a Distribution Lead to direct daily distribution activities, manage shipping/receiving, and partner with management to foster a culture aligned with ResMed’s values.

This role requires a GED, 3+ years in distribution/warehouse with 1 year in leadership, and proficiency with Oracle and WMS systems. Shift hours Monday-Friday 2:15 pm to 11:15 pm, with potential overtime.

Job description

Please note hours for this shift are Monday to Friday 2:15 pm to 11:15 pm

The Distribution Lead will be responsible for leading the activities and workforce related to shipping, receiving, storing of materials and/or finished goods. This leader will function as a Subject Matter Expert on core functions and processes. This position will also work in conjunction with other members of management in the development of a workplace culture that reflects ResMed’s organizational values, standards, core competencies and behaviors. This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor.

What You'll Do

• Directs daily activities for distribution employees.
• Participates in the day to day duties of the warehouse.
• Performs inventory control activities, including cycle count, data entry, report generation and reconciliation.
• Expedites critical shipments as required.
• Functions as the point person for questions from the distribution teams.
• Supports the training of warehouse employees.
• Participates in all system upgrades, testing or implementations.
• Enforces all OSHA, FDA and ISO rules and regulations.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Will walk and may occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift up to 40lbs.
• May handle "packaged" hazardous materials.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.

Qualifications and Experience: What You Bring

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (combination of education and experience will be considered)
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of distribution or warehouse leadership experience
• Strong familiarity with MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Display energetic, self-motivated and quick thinking with positive attitude.
• Must be flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this position is: $28.21 to 42.31 USD Hourly.
