Job summary

KONE is seeking a dependable warehouse worker for the first shift to pick, pack, and ship elevator components, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork. You will use a scan gun, stack and label goods, and assist with inventory control to support timely order fulfillment.

The role requires physical stamina, forklift skills, basic math, and reliable, detail-oriented performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pulls and assembles hardware, trough, and wire products according to the customer’s order.
• Packages material into boxes and onto skids.
• Scans all material with a scan gun to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Affixes appropriate labels and packing lists and prepares shipping documents.
• Operates a stretch wrap machine to secure boxes and reels to a skid.
• Operates a forklift to load customer orders onto outgoing trucks.
• Assists with cycle counts and inventory control activities.

**KONE WORK CELL – 1ST SHIFT****SUMMARY****:**Person in this position will pick and pack elevator installation kits, hardware, trough, and wire products as a kit and ship to customer. They will display the ability to work closely with others and as a team. Responsibilities listed below cover some of the significant duties performed, but do not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned.**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES****:*** Pulls and assembles hardware, trough, and wire products according to the customer’s order* Packages material into boxes and onto skids* Scans all material with a scan gun to verify accuracy and completeness* Affixes appropriate labels and packing lists* Prepares appropriate shipping documents* Operates a stretch wrap machine to secure boxes and reels to a skid* Operates a forklift to load customer orders onto outgoing trucks* Assists with cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory control activities**POSITION REQUIREMENTS****:*** High School Diploma; warehouse/distribution experience* English: proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication* Good physical condition, as you will be walking and standing the majority of the day* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds* Above average forklift driving skills (may be taught)* Attention to detail required in correct item and quantity* Material identification is extremely critical to detect quality issues* Basic computer skills required to operate scan gun and shipping programs on computer* Basic math skills required to count items* Initiative needed to drive your own performance.
