Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a Distribution Specialist to join the Supply Chain Operations team. The role focuses on monitoring and ensuring materials and patient care equipment are maintained, while resolving requests and inquiries to support excellent patient experiences.

Responsibilities include verifying PO receipts, resolving discrepancies with Purchasing, processing returns, and stocking the Distribution Storeroom. Per Diem, part-time, variable shift and schedule.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution of products, warehousing, storekeeping, hospital Central Service or Inventory Control preferred.
• Computer input/keyboard experience desired.
• Computerized Materials Management system experience preferred.
• Experience using an electronic signature software preferred.
• Basic experience in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials and receipts documentation against purchase orders and input PO receipts.
• Coordinate with Purchasing personnel to resolve PO or receipt discrepancies.
• Package and process supplies and materials being returned to vendors or other facilities and coordinate shipping.
• Supply stores stock supplies within its designated Distribution Storeroom location.
