Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure safety, efficiency, and accuracy in distribution activities. You will coordinate inbound/outbound processes, enforce SOPs, and maintain inventory control while supporting both English and Spanish communications.

The role requires 1 year of supervisory experience, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and a strong focus on safety, coaching, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of direct experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong supervisory and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with personal computers and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities for distribution accounts.
• Ensure health and safety, maintain OSHA standards and secure workplace.
• Lead daily huddles, enforce SOPs, and manage forklift safety checks.
• Oversee inbound/outbound activities to meet customer SLAs.
• Assign duties, audit work quality, and ensure policy conformance.
• Coach and develop staff, manage performance and staffing levels.
• Handle customer service coordination and issue resolution.
• Maintain inventory discipline and cycle-count accuracy.
