Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) in Laurel, MD is seeking a Distribution Hub Supervisor to oversee inbound receiving, inventory control, order processing, labeling, staging, and delivery load-out. The role ensures accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise Hub Associates and Drivers, coordinate with the Distribution Hub Manager, and drive improvements in inventory accuracy and operational efficiency while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory experience in distribution or warehouse operations.
• Experience managing inventory, receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping.
• Ability to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance in cannabis logistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pack/stage crew and delivery load-out to ensure accuracy and on-schedule prep.
• Assist Distribution Hub Manager with daily operations, assign work, train staff, monitor performance.
• Receive inventory from vendors, verify contents, count, inspect, and identify discrepancies.
• Handle inbound receiving, quality control, and put-away of inventory.
• Process orders and movements in METRC and Dutchie, ensuring records match physical stock.
• Generate METRC transfer manifests and secure approvals.
• Create and verify METRC tags and prepare inventory batches for deliveries.
• Pick, pack, label, and stage inventory against transfer orders with high accuracy.
• Coordinate delivery load-out and ensure proper vehicle loading per manifests.
• Support delivery route planning, vehicle readiness, and schedules.
• Complete local/statewide deliveries as needed, with mostly same-day returns to facility.
• Operate company vehicles safely for inventory transport.
• Conduct physical and digital inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Document all receipts, transfers, movements, and deliveries in METRC and Dutchie.
