Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Clerk in Columbus, OH to support hub outbound operations. The role involves identifying cartons, inspecting units, dock searches, and maintaining accurate inventory and reports in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This onsite position requires strong attendance, teamwork, and the ability to be cross-trained on various equipment and the Warehouse Management System. Benefit offerings include discount programs and health benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience with RF scanners.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team—performing duties as necessary.
• Willing and able to be cross trained and certified to operate equipment.
• Excellent Warehouse Management System knowledge including handheld, truck mount and desktop.
• Microsoft Office Proficient: Outlook, Word, and Excel (Basic).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run and consult systems databases to identify cartons for hub outbound deliveries.
• Identify via audit exceptions to designated outbound lanes.
• Build, open and inspect units flagged for further action.
• Conduct dock searches for cartons and remove straps and pallets.
• Daily analysis of hub inventory variances and upkeep of inventory and outbound reports.
• Run daily reports for hub records.
• Execute basic waving functions as needed.
• Locate, receive, and task cartons.
• Safely operate material handling tools and equipment.
• Keep work area safe, organized and clean per OSHA and warehousing practices.
• Adhere to Williams-Sonoma's Mission, Vision, and Values in daily activities.
