Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Distribution Clerk to support hub operations. You will run system queries to identify cartons, audit outbound lanes, and inspect units per assembly instructions.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least 6 months RF scanner experience, and be able to operate warehousing equipment. The role is onsite with opportunities to learn and grow within our supply chain culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience with RF scanners.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team.
• Willing and able to be cross trained and certified to operate equipment: Reach Tracker, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker/TT, Motorized Pallet Jack.
• Excellent Warehouse Management System knowledge including handheld, truck mount and desktop.
• Microsoft Office Proficient: Outlook, Word, and Excel (Basic).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner.
• Flexible to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Run and consult systems databases to identify cartons needed for hub outbound deliveries.
• Identify via audit exceptions to designated outbound lanes.
• Build, open and inspect units flagged for further action as directed by assembly instructions.
• Conduct dock searches for cartons and remove straps and vendor pallets.
• Daily analysis of hub inventory variances and upkeep of inventory and outbound reports.
• Run daily reports for hub records.
• Execute basic waving functions as needed.
• Locate, receive, and task cartons.
• Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment.
• Keep work area safe, organized and clean according to OSHA requirements.
• Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities with accuracy and quality.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.

The Distribution Clerks works with operations management, leads, and team to ensure accurate processing, inspection, disposition, and packaging to meet the service level expectations of internal and external customers.

The Distribution Clerk position is located in Columbus, OH.
