Job summary

Big Tex Trailers in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking a production associate to support shipping and assembly operations. You will work with PPE, follow safety protocols, and help prepare trailers for shipment.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift 40+ pounds, and stamina for outdoor conditions in a manufacturing environment. You will operate hand tools, torque wrenches, and forklifts under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 40+ pounds.
• Exposure to outside temperatures and weather.
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that shipping blocks are cut and built using circular saws, air nailers, and other various hand tools.
• Ability to use a torque wrench in order to remove tires from specific trailers.
• Move inspected trailers out of inspection and to designated storage areas using tractors or forklifts as required.
• Pull trailers and stack for shipping using safe stacking and loading practices.
• Load trucks with trailers for shipment.
