Job summary

Welty Energy & Infrastructure (WE&I) is seeking a Project Manager to lead distribution projects, coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities to deliver on schedule and budget.

The role is remote, with travel to client sites in Eastern PA (10–20%). A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and at least three years in utility project management are required; PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of three years in utility project management (power or gas).
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in electric utility project management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure project life cycle is on track.
• Act as primary client contact on projects.
• Review specs, drawings, contracts for constructability.
• Lead project planning and status meetings to manage schedule and budget.
• Provide schedule updates to management and clients.
• Oversee construction package reviews and site walk-downs.
• Ensure permits are obtained and outages communicated.
• Assist Portfolio Manager with coordination and reporting.
• Perform site safety inspections.
• Follow client methods and policies while planning and executing projects.
