AEP Service Corporation, located near Ashland, KY, is seeking a Distribution Dispatcher Associate to assist in the safe and reliable operation, dispatching and restoration of facilities for the AEP Distribution System as assigned.

The role requires living within 30 minutes of the Robert E Matthews Service Center in Ashland, KY, and involves rotating shifts, pre-employment testing, and advancement opportunities within the Distribution Dispatcher track.

Formación

• Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology
• Bachelor of Science in any field or equivalent education and/or experience
• Rotating shift work required

Responsabilidades

• Promote and enforce the Company's Safety and Health programs.
• Be knowledgeable and adhere to written company and department policy and procedures.
• Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company's Corporate Compliance Policy
• Effectively operate company communication equipment.
• Track crew locations and ongoing work on the distribution system.
• Dispatch service personnel to respond to outage and emergency situations.
• Authorize the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities.
• Maintain accurate outage records.
• Maintain accurate records of abnormal and defective equipment for distribution facilities.

Educación

Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology

Bachelor of Science in any field or equivalent education and/or experience
