Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records, lot integrity, Certificates of Conformance, and Country of Origin documentation and tracking.
• Ensure all distribution procedures are followed and report discrepancies as needed.
• Enter all transactions into Oracle accurately and promptly.
• Move materials with forklifts and handcarts and unload received materials.
• Process paperwork and system transactions to maintain inventory data.
• Support Shipping Supervisor and GEMBA Board initiatives.
• Suggest improvements for efficiency, cost savings, quality, and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible workplace.
• Collaborate with team and maintain a positive, respectful work environment.
• Monitor KPIs and quality metrics and report trends to supervisor.
• Assist in investigations of customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Overtime may be required.

Distribution Coordinator/Shipping Clerk

Position Summary

The Distribution Coordinator is responsible for supporting shipping and logistics operations while ensuring accurate inventory management, documentation, and transactions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment and strong technical knowledge of Oracle or a similar shipping/inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records, lot integrity, Certificates of Conformance, and Country of Origin documentation and tracking.


• Ensure all distribution procedures are followed and report discrepancies as needed.


• Ensure products are received in a timely manner and all transactions are accurately entered into Oracle.


• Execute standardized work practices for Parts & Kits, ensuring inventory is safely stored in the proper locations, accurately counted, and properly labeled.


• Process all required paperwork and system transactions to maintain accurate inventory data.


• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and handcarts to move materials, including unloading received materials.


• Execute assignments provided by the Shipping Supervisor and through the Parts & Kits GEMBA Board.


• Recommend and implement improvements related to efficiency, cost savings, quality, and workplace safety.


• Maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible work environment.


• Foster teamwork and maintain a positive, professional attitude while treating all employees fairly and respectfully.


• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track quality metrics and trends, and prepare reports for supervisor review.


• Participate in investigations related to customer complaints and product quality, implementing corrective measures to help prevent future occurrences.


• Perform other duties as assigned, including overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of shipping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.


• Working knowledge of Oracle or a similar shipping, inventory, or ERP system.


• Experience maintaining inventory accuracy and processing shipping/receiving documentation.


• Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to follow standardized work procedures and safety requirements.
