Job summary

IPEX is seeking a Distribution Centre Coordinator to lead an energetic team in a fast-paced warehouse and yard environment. The role focuses on coordinating shipments, ensuring order accuracy, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, managing timecards, supporting HR-related activities, and driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and process adherence within the distribution center.

Qualifications

• Education & Certificates: Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent and several years of experience in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• Health, Safety and First Aid Training certificates are an asset. Applicants must pass a C-TPAT background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the shipping team to ensure orders ship on time and meet service and quality standards.
• Monitor workbench software to prevent service failures; audit shipments for accuracy.
• Balance workload to expedite customer orders and monitor inbound receiving (36–48 hours).
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints; provide feedback for corrective actions.
• Manage warehouse and yard staff; conduct performance reviews and track time/attendance.
• Assist in recruiting, orientation, and new hire training for warehouse staff.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through periodic counts and investigations of shortages; participate in annual physical inventory.
