Responsibilities

• Supervise daily distribution center operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Lead, train, schedule, and coach DC team members promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Monitor workflows and staffing to meet daily goals and productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and DOT regulations if applicable.
• Oversee inbound/outbound processes to ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and delivery.
• Coordinate with operations manager to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Provide leadership by communicating expectations and opportunities for growth.
• Conduct team meetings, safety discussions, and on-the-job training.
• Ensure trained and certified operation of powered industrial equipment.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Support budgeting, payroll tracking, and reporting activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and identify unsafe practices.
• Monitor key metrics and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and service levels.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
