Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a full-time Supervisor of Distribution II to join our distribution center team in the RDC. This role oversees the Breakpack department on the 2B shift, Tuesday - Friday 5:00p - 3:30a, and coordinates all distribution operations to maximize productivity and quality.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent, plus 3–5 years of DC management experience and knowledge of distribution systems. Retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years experience in Distribution Center management.
• Distribution systems knowledge preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting & responding to production volume and manpower needs to maximize productivity.
• Training, developing & supervising non-exempt associates.
• Promoting and maintaining high associate morale & safety.
• Coaching and counseling associate performance and attendance issues.
• Maintain established through-put standards.
• Meet budget goals and productivity standards.
• Developing and implementing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
• Maintaining the security of all merchandise and capital equipment in assigned departments.
• Assignment of special projects that relate to the business and/or operations.
