Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Fort Worth, TX, is hiring a full-time Supervisor of Distribution II to lead our distribution center operations on the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 4:00 pm–2:30 am).

You will forecast volume, train and supervise non-exempt associates, maintain safety and morale, coach performance, and strive to meet budgets and productivity targets while implementing efficient procedures and safeguarding merchandise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years experience in Distribution Center management.
• Distribution systems preferred.
• Retail Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting & responding to production volume and manpower needs in order to maximize productivity.
• Training, developing & supervising non-exempt associates.
• Promoting and maintaining high associate morale & safety.
• Coaching and counseling associate performance and attendance issues.
• Maintain established through-put standards.
• Meet budget goals and productivity standards.
• Developing and implementing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and safety of operations.
• Maintaining the security of all merchandise and capital equipment in assigned departments.
• Assignment of special projects that relate to the business and/or operations in order to expand knowledge of facility or company.

Education
