Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Jackson, TN is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for the on-site 2nd shift (2pm-10pm, M-F). You will lead a safety-focused distribution team, drive productivity, and coordinate staffing and process improvements.

Responsibilities include training and coaching associates, enforcing safety policies, and partnering with HR to manage performance, attendance, and hiring. Experience with SAP/WMS is preferred; a related degree is favored.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum requirement of associate’s degree.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting.
  • Minimum 1+ years' recent relevant leadership experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with inventory or warehouse software, databases, and other systems including SAP and WMS, preferred.

  • Team member engagement. Effectively build relationships and trust with the team to successfully execute daily/weekly/monthly goals.
  • Develops Team Leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned associates
  • Monitors, measures, and documents department performance for cost, labor, and productivity requirements
  • Working with the Human Resources Department, select employees through the normal hiring process, consistently administer policies and procedures as applicable, monitor employee performance/attendance/time, resolve associate relation issues, coach and counsel for improvement and apply discipline consistently where necessary up to and including termination of employment.

The Job:

Salary Range:

The Salary range for this position is $63,800.00 - $102,700.00. This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. Please note that salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker. The salary range listed in this job posting reflects the range for the primary location specified.
