Job summary

Fashion Nova Logistics seeks an experienced Distribution Center Safety Manager to lead workplace safety initiatives in a high-volume distribution environment. This role promotes a culture of safety, ensures OSHA/Cal OSHA compliance, and partners with Operations, HR, Facilities, and leadership to maintain a safe workplace for all associates.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in safety management within manufacturing or distribution, strong communication, and a proven incident-reduction track

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in safety management.
• Proven track record of implementing and managing safety programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/Cal OSHA regulations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver training and safety guidance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes.
• Experience tracking safety metrics and presenting data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST) are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Monitor safety performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
• Lead and deliver safety training programs, including accident prevention and emergency response procedures
• Partner with leadership to align safety initiatives with operational and business objectives
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal OSHA, and all applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement preventative measures
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters, providing guidance and support to employees and leadership
• Promote a culture of safety through employee engagement, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all safety equipment and resources are available, properly maintained, and compliant with standards
