Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse and transportation activities. You will lead shifts, coach staff, and drive improvements while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery across the DC network.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, performance management, and collaboration with the General Manager to deploy supply chain strategies and establish a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree Bachelors.
• 5 years of related experience including 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ATD’s quality standards, health and safety, legal compliance, environmental policies, SOPs, and general duty of care.
• Effectively manage team by selecting, recruiting, training, and mentoring employees for development.
• Investigate employee relations or performance concerns in a timely manner; implement disciplinary action as needed and in consultation with HR.
• Lead daily huddles at the DC to ensure employees understand tasks, expectations and deliverables, building a values-based culture.
• Onboard and train team members; coach, motivate, and manage performance.
• Provide leadership and manage day-to-day activities for warehouse and delivery associates on different shifts.
• Provide leadership support for the DC General Manager.
