Job summary

Vallen Distribution seeks a Distribution Center Operations Coordinator to support daily warehouse and order fulfillment by coordinating inventory, shipping, and order workflows. This role serves as a key contact for internal teams, customers, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely resolution of issues and accurate order processing.

The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting operational efficiency,

Qualifications

• Education requirement: High School diploma or relevant clerical experience.
• Demonstrated skills using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Be a self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Demonstrate good time management skills.
• Must possess planning, organizational and execution skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner.
• Possess a proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution.
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with co-workers and management.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Research and address all submitted DC Inquiries, ensuring timely completion.
• Handle calls and emails from customers, associates, and collaborators for questions or directions.
• Track shipping errors, inventory adjustments and non-conformances for reporting and root-cause analysis.
• Operate warehouse power equipment and obtain certification as required.
• Coordinate attendance and leave tracking for the Distribution Center.
• Process and resolve non-conforming orders on exception reporting.
• Expedite shipments and manage daily orders in the OMS.
• Collaborate with vendors, freight carriers, and external providers.
• Manage and reconcile credit card expenses and retention documents.
• Work with inventory sync reports to minimize variances.
