Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager for its Savannah RDC. You will lead a team of about 20 associates across two shifts, overseeing receiving, processing, shipping, storing and delivering flooring products throughout GA and SC.

The role emphasizes safety, customer experience, cost control, and continuous improvement, with close collaboration with Sales and Customer Service to meet service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 1+ year logistics experience; or an associate degree with 3+ years; or high school diploma with 5–7 years of logistics management/supervisor experience.
• Ability to lead and coach large teams across shifts and locations.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) operations, ensuring safety, service, engagement and cost efficiency.
• Provide clear direction to associates across all shifts and remove barriers to daily execution.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve exceptions and uphold service standards.
• Report facility performance to Director of Regional Operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure DOT compliance and safety protocols.
• Motivate and empower staff to meet goals and drive continuous improvement.
