Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Distribution Center Advisor to lead a department's day-to-day operations within a Distribution Center. You will drive productivity, train employees, enforce safety standards, and optimize workflows aligned with AutoZone’s goals.

The role requires 1–2 years in a distribution center setting, PIE operation experience, and a flexible schedule to support various shifts in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a distribution center/warehouse environment.
• Experience operating power industrial equipment (PIE) such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Flexible schedule with availability for various shift schedules.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and motivate a team to meet productivity and operational goals.
• Monitor labor costs and daily payroll to ensure policy compliance.
• Provide coaching to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Oversee work processes and apply continuous improvement methods.
• Manage daily shift schedules to ensure staffing and execution.
• Collaborate with DC Operations Managers to hit objectives.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams on challenges and improvements.
