Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Distribution Center Advisor to lead day-to-day operations within a Distribution Center department. You will drive productivity, coach up to 30 direct reports, and ensure safety and compliance with company standards.

In this role, you will monitor labor costs, optimize workflows, coordinate with DC Operations Managers, and communicate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in distribution center/warehouse environment.
• Experience operating PIE equipment (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, stackers).
• Flexible schedule for various shift schedules.
• Fast-paced environment handling dynamic demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and motivate a team of up to 30 direct reports to meet productivity goals.
• Monitor labor costs and daily payroll to ensure attendance policy compliance.
• Provide coaching to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Oversee daily work processes and drive continuous improvement for efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage daily shift schedules to ensure staffing and execution.
• Collaborate with DC Operations Managers to achieve objectives.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement improvements.
