Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency in Guam seeks a Distribution Facilities Manager to lead center operations, supervise a service provider, and oversee quality assurance plans.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in distribution facilities management
• Coordination and integration of supply, maintenance, procurement and logistics functions
• Experience supervising contract surveillance and safety/security programs
• Ability to analyze programs and implement improvements to support customers

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees service provider operations and QASP implementation
• Provides expert distribution management advice to the center director
• Analyzes plans and recommends changes to improve customer support
• Attends meetings with customers, contractors, officials and military officers
• Participates in overall management of the distribution mission and programs
• Sets goals, long-range plans, and controls to manage costs and performance
